Are you a change agent?
Change Camp Victoria is hosting a one day event focused on citizen engagement for social change. There are no shortages of awesome change-focused projects and events happening in Victoria. Could they be more effective? How? What would happen if...all Victoria change agents got together one day to meet, talk and inspire each other.
Come prepared to meet other social innovators for intense, action-focused collaboration. You may be the catalyst to help drive collective impact to new heights in Victoria.
How does this all work?
Hosted as an un-conference, you, and everyone else in the room, are social change experts. We want to share your, my, our collective knowledge about impact driven social change efforts to help us all succeed.
This is how we can do it...
Identify a social change topic or idea (e.g. 'How can we work collectively to drive impact?’ or ‘How can new technology empower citizens to enhance democracy?')
Prepare a 2 minute 'totally awesome' pitch.
Bring your ideas, expertise, tools etc., and be ready to host a short, sharp and inclusive 1 hour session with other change agents.
Test, learn, grow and make plans to put your group idea into action.
Pass the news!
We're taking a '6 degrees of social innovation' strategy for this invite-only event. We're hoping social agents like you will invite cool people you know, etc. If there is someone you know for whom this event is perfect, please send them the invite! Tickets are limited. Music and social gathering event after.
